L’utilisation de la personne humaine à Auschwitz comme support des expérimentations « in vivo » mise en œuvre par des docteurs en médecine, pensée et supervisée par des anthropologues et encadrée par les plus hauts rouages de l’Etat est une des caractéristiques fondamentales de la politique raciale nazie.
Pourtant, à ce jour ce phénomène n’a jamais été traité à part entière à la télévision comme au cinéma.
De plus, à la différence des expérimentations médicales menées dans les autres camps, les médecins d’Auschwitz se livrent à deux types d’expérimentations qui ont pour but la suprématie de la race aryenne :

- d’une part la stérilisation des femmes et des hommes, pour empêcher la croissance des peuples européens dits de race inférieure
- d’autre part avec le Dr Mengele et ses expériences sur les jumeaux les nazis tentent de percer les secrets de la génétique, pour multiplier la race aryenne.
Ce dernier volet complète la trilogie HURBN (Destruction ) composée de « Auschwitz, premiers témoignages » – « Criminal Doctors, Auschwitz » et « Sonderkommando, Auschwitz-Birkenau ».

The use of the human being in Auschwitz as a medium for « in vivo » experimentation, performed by medical doctors, formulated and supervised by anthropologists and controlled by the wheels of State at the highest level, is one of the fundamental characteristics of the Nazi racial policy ; and yet, up to now this phenomenon has never been treated as a subject in its own right, either on television or in the cinema. Moreover, unlike the medical experimentation carried out in the other camps, the Auschwitz doctors indulged in two types of experiments intended to establish the supremacy of the Aryan race:
- on the one hand, the sterilisation of women and men, in order to prevent the expansion of the European peoples of so-called inferior race
- on the other hand, with Dr. Mengele and his experiments on twins, the Nazis attempted to penetrate the secrets of genetics, in order to multiply the Aryan race.
This film is the final part of the trilogy « HOURBN, Destruction » composed of « Auschwitz, the First Testimonies »(1), « Criminal Doctors, Auschwitz »(2) and « Sonderkommando, Auschwitz-Birkenau » (3).
